Grand Slam Tennis (Wii) Rating: 8.5 (Great)

Grand Slam Tennis is a lovely addition to the Wii selection, giving you the feeling that you are almost actually playing tennis. To top this game off, in a special pack you can get it with a Wii MotionPlus, which makes your swings of the WiiMote feel even more real. For example, if you pull it across your body, the ball will go in the opposite corner, stop your swing early, and the ball will go straight down the line. The graphics are good, some of the best the Wii has seen. Online play is good, you can connect up with a friend and play doubles together and you score points towards your country when you win a match which I thought was a nice addition. The downsides are that there are not many choices that you can make in the character creation process, online play can get a bit laggy when you are playing international people and that can get annoying. Overall, it is a very good game, adding a nice touch to the Wii games area.
